Sutter Creek Theatre Summer Camp · Sutter Creek Theatre
This is the second of two Theatre Camp sessions, made possible by the award-winning Sutter Creek Theatre. Registration fee is $265 at 257-0709. Students will enjoy a unique creative journey in " The Jack Tales" co-directed by Monica Maclean and local artist Barara Alexaner as well as Geff Crawford, Musical Director. Sutter Creek Theatre just won " Best Independent Theatre for 2009 on the KCRA Best of A-List.

Everyone is invited to join this candlelite walk down Spanish St. from the Catholic Church (to receiv your candle light) and join the walk to the Methodist Church, ending in a live manager scene. Any child dressed in white may be an angle. There will be over 500 luminarias set by members of Immaculate Conception, United Methodist and Trinty Episcopal churches. Segments of the Bible will be read as "Mary and Joseph" walk on Spanish Street attempting to find room before they reach the Methodist Church. There, the Baby Jesus will be place in a stable with live sheep and goats tended by youngsters serving as angels and sheperds.
