The American Exchange Hotel, 53 Main Street, is the starting point for 90-minute, guided bus tours that introduce visitors to farms, mines, wines and spirits. Bus tours depart at 10:30 a.m. each Saturday. Reservations at $15 each may be made at 800-892-2276. Inquire also about guided walking tours of Sutter Creek's historic buildings at $10: tours leave at 1:30 p.m. from the town's Visitors Center.

American Exchange Hotel The American Exchange Hotel, established in 1854, and recently renovated, now offers 25 rooms tastefully appointed in 1850s decor. Each room has telephone, flat-screen, wall-mounted TV, wireless computer access, ceiling fans and individual heat/A.C. Also at the hotel is Bellotti's Italian restaurant, bar, lounge and 80-person banquet facility.
